obsession

Every girl would sure love to get their hands on very good deals when it comes to makeup. Early last year, I came to know about Cosmetics Company Outlets (a.k.a. CCO's). CCO's are usually under the name 'Cosmetics Company Store' and are located in most outlets (i.e. Tanger, Potomac, Franklin Mills). The brands and kinds of makeup products each CCO would have would differ from one outlet to another. Some may have MAC, some may not. A CCO is basically a makeup store that offers various high end makeup at a lower price. Think of it as a Sephora, but with cheaper makeup. :)

So some of you may wonder about the authenticity of these products carried about the CCO. I know, I've asked that question too. These products are all authentic and original. They are being sold at a cheaper price because of different reasons like changes in packaging, a small defect (mostly in terms of packaging, not the product itself!), and some are just makeup left from previous collections.

As for the pricing, they are not ridiculously cheap, just marked down. Besides, wouldn't you be a little suspicious about a high end makeup being sold for 1/3 of its real price? Right. And CCO's are not only limited to selling cosmetics. They also carry skin care products and brushes. :)

If you'd like to see more of my CCO haul, check out the photos under the cut.

 $22, Sephora
MAC Paint Pot in Coral Crepe from the Pret-a-Papier Collection
A paint pot usually costs $16.50 at any MAC counter
MAC Golden Crown Eyeshadow from the Tartan Tale Collection
 Originally $19.50, MAC
Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra. Purchased for $34, retails for $42 at lancome-usa.com
Lancôme Gentle Eye Makeup Remover, retails for $26.

Oh and by the way, I forgot to mention that CCO employees are not makeup artists or trained to shade match or evaluate skin types. So I would suggest finding out your foundation shade before buying anything at a CCO because most of the time, all sales are final and you cannot return anything. I hope this little rough guide to CCO was helpful!

Let me know if you'd like a review on any of the items. And the CCO's I visited were:

Cosmetics Company Store
Tanger Outlet
Barstow, CA

Cosmetics Company Store
Fashion Outlet
Primm, NV
